DENIM MEETS PASTELS
Crowd-pleasing, versatile and inclusive in the way it has historically broken down class and gender barriers. Denim is a staple feature of anyone’s wardrobe, perfect as it is for informal occasions and suitable, with just a few extra style touches, for more sophisticated events too. The shades of its characteristic blue colour are absolutely timeless but, for SS 22, Marina Rinaldi is using this material in more delicate hues.
Thanks to the use of all-natural dyes, the jeanswear range is brimming with pastel colours, including soft shades of yellow, sage green and light pink.
A slightly oversized jacket and a Mandarin-collar shirt with drop shoulders and cuffs with a small puff pair with two pairs of trousers. The first pair is wide-legged, hemmed at the ankles and complete with large front pockets, while the second is slightly longer, more snug and complete with the classic five pockets.
Everything evokes the fresh feel of nature awakening after the harsh winter period and emphasises, through colour, care for the environment from which the dyes used, all of which are free from chemical agents, originate.
The pastel-coloured denim pieces will be available in store and online from January.
