KARAHI POINT: FROM PAKISTAN, WITH LOVE.

THE PLACE FOR AUTHENTIC PAKISTANI CUISINE

If you’re looking for a halal Pakistani restaurant in Toronto, look no further than the Karahi Point. The restaurant was first established in 2014 at Islington, Etobicoke. Later, other branches opened at Finch, North York; Millcreek Dr, Mississauga; Oakville; Ajax. Their new branch at Richmond Hill is also coming soon.

TorontoPages magazine was invited to visit their restaurant and experience their food. I was excited when my Chief Editor asked me to join the review team. We were three of us. We visited their Finch, North York branch of Karahi Point for lunch on a Sunday and were delighted by their warm hospitality and delicious food. When we arrived at their restaurant, the staff welcomed us and gave us the best sitting.

We were very impressed by the interior of the restaurant. The place was very modern and clean but still had an authentic feel. It has a fun vibe, with brightly-colored walls and interesting paintings. The tables were perfectly sized. There is also a large sitting area that can accommodate big groups. The exterior was also simple, but the restaurant’s sign was very eye-catching.

The staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. They greeted us with a smile. They were also very knowledgeable about their menu items, which is always helpful when trying something new. They checked up on us frequently without being overbearing or annoying. The ambience of this restaurant is great! It has a casual atmosphere that makes it easy to talk while you’re eating.

The food itself was delicious. We started with Chicken Pakora and Lahori Fried Fish as an appetizer, which was crispy and delicious. Their chicken pakoras were cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of spices. It also came with a side of yogurt sauce, which added a nice tangy flavor to the dish. The Lahori Fried Fish was perfectly cooked and had an amazing flavor.

They also have a wide variety of barbecues. We tried the boneless chicken tikka and the chicken seekh kabab. The tikka was cooked to perfection and tasted very good. The seekh kabab was also cooked well and had a great flavor.

As the name suggests, for our main course we ordered three different meat karahis. Their famous bone-in Chicken Karahi, Goat Karahi, and Lamb Karahi. All of them were incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection. All of their Karahis were very flavorful, with just the right amount of spices. The meat in all karahis was tender and tasty. We also tried their garlic naan bread which was crunchy on top but soft inside. It had just the right amount of chewiness without being tough or chewy at all. We also ordered their chicken biryani which was served with raita. It was full spicy and flavorful.

For dessert, we tried Gulab Jamun (which was very good and they are fried dough balls soaked in a sweet syrup), and Ras Malai (which was the best part of our meal). I tried their Karak Tea (which was tasty and strong). They have a wide selection of beverages including sodas, Milkshakes, Lemonade, Lassi, Water, etc.

Overall, the menu is great and they have options for both meat lovers and vegetarians alike. The best thing about this place is that everything on their menu is halal. There are also Pakistani sweets available if you want something sweet after your meal.

Me and my team enjoyed the food. All of us were very happy and satisfied after having delicious lunch. Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting this restaurant if you’re looking for some authentic Pakistani cuisine in Toronto, Canada.

Karahi Point is open 7 Days a week from 12PM to 11PM everyday for Dine-In and Takeout.
